SINCE 1880

Situated in Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter, which continues to be home to around 40% of the UK’s jewellery production, Benkes of England holds a proud place within Britain’s rich tradition of craftsmanship. Originally established in 1880, Benkes has evolved through generations, balancing time-honoured values with thoughtful progress to adapt to the modern world while remaining rooted in its heritage.

Benkes of England continues to design and craft refined pieces for the modern gentleman, combining traditional silversmithing techniques with contemporary design sensibilities. Each collection is crafted with a focus on understated luxury, precision, and enduring quality, each accessory is made to be worn, valued, and passed on.

ROOTED IN HERITAGE, REFINED FOR TODAY

At the heart of Benkes remains an unwavering commitment to quality and traditional craftsmanship. Long established silversmithing processes such as hand engraving, diamond cutting, engine turning, polishing and classic vitreous enamelling continue to define our craft. Alongside these, we embrace a 21st century approach, incorporating modern technologies including 3D scanning, laser engraving, die steel cutting and CAD. Together, this breadth of expertise enables Benkes to deliver exceptional quality and enduring excellence.
